i actually screwed this up on my last pet, cos i was drunk, & cast "Arcane Explosion" with Chrominuis' first round (instead of going straight to "Howl"), but i still won - so there seems to be some 'wiggle room' with the strat if it at least STARTS well.

I got lucky and Nexus Whelpling took care of the first two pets!! Stormborn Whelpling only needed to cast Mana Surge for the last pet to die!!

I likewise had a bit of luck, and did this first time without Chrominius needing to come in at all! Though I should probably note that I think I misread the strat, and kept my Nexus Whelpling in until it died, rather than swapping it out.

Very RNG dependent, enemy pets must roll on the low end for their damage. If you can get Needlenose down with your Stormborn (or 1 arcane explosion with Chrominius) you know you've won.

I tried with a P/B Nexus Whelpling and could not survive past the third round after 12 tries. Switched to a P/P breed and was able to kill Needlenose before he killed me. The rest of the battle did not follow the instructions because I couldn't time the Arcane Storm right, but I did win the battle. Recommending P/P breed Nexus Whelpling for this.

Worked like charm, something wrong with script, when Chrominius joined and killed Needlenose and Brite came, script stopped working, Chrominius had around 400-500hp left, but I finished off with howl + surge, so it wasn't an issue

I didn't have stormborne whelpling so just put Lil' Tarecgosa in with 2/x/1 instead, worked like a charm! Just had to howl+surge of power as soon as chrominius came in

I got unlucky with sleep, crits, and moth balls and it didn't work on the first try. It went much better on attempt 2 and didn't even end up needing Chrominius. (editiert)

1		Lazey	Regarding comments maybe the best idea is to forfeit and restart on a Round 1 Sleep. I absolutely dislike recommending restarts on RNG conditions, but maybe for this specific fight, it will be less annoying than to lose later because we try to stick to the strategy with 2 rounds lost.
