Regarding comments maybe the best idea is to forfeit and restart on a Round 1 Sleep. I absolutely dislike recommending restarts on RNG conditions, but maybe for this specific fight, it will be less annoying than to lose later because we try to stick to the strategy with 2 rounds lost.

This strat accomodates for the four different chances you may be put Asleep. I used PP Whelp, and have not tested with other breeds. I would imagine that the other breeds don't have enough power to pull this off.
For 3rd pet, I would recommend any Dragonkin with Surge of Power or Arcane Winds, although any strong attack should finish off the fight. Asleep chance #1: Round 1/2, continue with strat priority Asleep chance #2, Round 5/6, negated due to already sleeping Asleep chance #3, Round 9/10, continue with strat priority (Prio 2 is activated) Asleep chance #4, Round 13/14 negated due to already sleeping |

This is a simplified version of a previous strategy of mine. The old one worked with all breeds and with several alternative pets in slot #3, but many users found my instructions difficult to follow.
hile I work on that old strategy, streamlining some steps and rewriting some instructions, here's the simplified version. This is the strategy at its strongest, but requires P/P breeds. I've also changed this version to restart the fight if slept on round 1, mainly to cut out the number of variables in enemy hp values, but also so you don't waste time trying to salvage a fight only to be put to sleep a second time. |
