It very rng but it does work as of 8.3. With the changes coming in 9.0 it very well may not work at all. (edited)

Doesn't work very well. Zandalari Anklerender (any breed but P/P). Primal Cry, Black Claw, Hunting Party. Blood is dead or almost dead.

I had also issues to get this to work. After replacing Ikky with Infinite Whelpling (1-1-2) this was way easier. Use Healing Flame on cd, Tail Sweep to finish off Vile Blood. Whelpling died for me at this point, bring back in Val'kyr for a few Shadow Shock, Val'kyr dies. Then switch to Emerald Proto-Whelp, don't forget to refresh Emerald Presence when only 1 stack left.

While this one *can* still work, it seems to have become very RNG-based. Damage rolls on Ikky have to be just so to get it to work.

I ended up needing to swap Emerald Presence and Emerald dream to keep up with the damage long enough to heal up.
