It's because Liz uses Toxic Bite, which increases the amount DoTs hit for. The caveat with Toxic Bite is that, no matter which pet has it applies, the effect applies to both. So even though your Boneshard is the one afflicted by Toxic Bite, Boneshard's DoTs are also hitting harder.

Instead of the chicken i used Ikky -- first round in Black Claw. The Blistering cold *almost* killed it just that round. Flock next to finish.
