Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

The team was created by the Youtuber Kovok's Gaming, who kindly allowed me to add this to our collection.
If you want to see these pets in action watch his video.

Apart from the fact that those three pets don't rely on each other to work well there actually is a synergy between them; they all take use of poison attacks. They might have trouble fighting against fliers and absorb effects (e.g. Sandstorm), though.

Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Kovok
Kovok's strength doesn't lie in strong burst damage (*cough* Kunchong Hatchling *cough*^^), but instead he distributes damage over the enemy team in form of dots.

Always main Poison Fang followed by Black Claw on the active enemy pet. After that deploy Pheromones. Kovok becomes especially strong if your opponent decides to swap pets.

DAH
I hate this snake. It's absurdly fast, which makes Blinding Poison really powerful and hard to counter if your pet goes second. That's bad enough but, on top of that, the blind counts as a poison and therefor triggers Puncture Wound.

The death adder also punishes swapping because the Poison Fang will do a lot of damage to pets in the background.

I Pyreclaw
It's kind of similar to Kovok since it also shines in dealing damage to the whole enemy team. Keep in mind that Great Sting is a poison and can buff Puncture Wound because of that.
