There is a chance that Pokey will Feign Death, if that happens just continue with the strat and the outcome should be the same, Mr. Bigglesworth probably won't even be needed. The first few times I ran this Infected Fawn died at the same time as Timbo, other times he lived longer. You should still be able to follow the steps as they are and be fine.

you can substitude Ghastly Kid instead of the Fawn, (1 2 *) just use Hoof to Kill first pet, ethereal in undead round and hoof again. The 3rd pet isnt needed and gets swapped in once the last pet of the opponent dies.
