I used a anklerender (RP) using 2, 2, 2, using black claw, then primal cry, then hunting party and he soloed it. I have put it in as a suggestion.

Just FYI: probably any double counter (Humanoids with beast strikes) can solo or duo Yi with a notable example of Hogs.
Lil' Bad Wolf and Stunted Yeti may need a bit of help due to not always adjusted breeds. =)

Yeah indeed. There are so many strategies that work against Lucky Yi. He's definitely one of the weakest enemies around.
