I've been using the snail/grub strat for forever and thought, why don't I try to optimize this 20+ turn strat and make it faster. Sister of Temptation New Meta |

Original strategy from wowhead user ToviValdora (found here: Link)
I have tried some of the other strategies and without some pets this was the only one that worked, and it was fast and reliable. |

Sometimes when you start this fight, Tarr does not swap out his first Murloc in the first 2 turns. In that case the strategy won't work and you have to retry the fight.

For Pet 3, more generic pets such as spiders or bile larvas work too, but I put the Revenant there to ensure Gladiator Murkimus dies before performing a second leap.

An alternative to the Haunt strategies using newer pet options. It is more reliable and just as quick in my experience.

However, I just walked through this strat exactly as written with that condition, and it still works. The leveller took one Punish, about 400 damage, but everything still worked as expected, and a level 7 pet will have enough health (except maybe a level 7 Dragonkin).

Ghastly Rat 2,2,1
Level Pet 1+
Ghost Maggot 2,2,2
Start Battle:
Crouch
Rabid Strike
Consume
Rabid Strike
Pass due to stun
Consume finishes Gladiator Deathy
Crouch
Rabid Strike (blocked)
Rabid Strike (blocked)
Rabid Strike (hits)
Consume
Crouch (Gladiator Murkimus leaps)
Consume and Rapid Strike until Gladiator Murkimus dies
Swap Level Pet when Gladiator Murkalot comes out. He uses Shield Storm for no damage.
Swap back to Ghastly Rat - Rapid Strike until he dies
Use Ghost Maggot with Ghostly Bite to finish Gladiator Murkalot.
I have run this team for over a dozen battles and only one RND change.
Ghost Maggot had to hit Gladiator Murkalot with Absorb, Plagued Blood, Ghostly Bite for two rounds before killing him. Good Luck!

This fight can run very different depending on the spell Tarr uses at the very start. I tried a couple of times with your strat and it either works out fine, or will drag out very long and the Grub barely manages in the end. It still does work, so I'm going to add it :-)
Thank you for suggesting it!
