The extra sustain from Ecorce benefits the wider damage range possible with Griffe infectée. I also expanded Tempête de sable from round 1 to on-cooldown, buying another 5 rounds of weather in the somewhat likely chance Nelthara survives to round 7. I also made a minor tweak to the conditions that balances Festin macabre against Jeune maccarbre's primary attack, in the hope it would fire a round earlier during close calls. I'm not sure that actually made a difference in the end. Xu-Fu happens to report 43% but that seems to be on the low end of the sim RNG. WPS commonly returns 50% and up to 53% win-rate. You need a Marked Flawless Battle-Stone which you can buy for 15 Charms. You can get 14-20 Charms from each Pet World Quest in BfA and later that offers them. You can even do that battle with a team of level 1 pets because the opponents will scale down.

P.S. And some world quests offer a Marked Flawless Battle-Stone as a reward directly.

Or you can buy a Flawless Battle-Stone at the Auction House. (edited)

Thank you very much! I was/am a noob regarding pet battles. did so and finished on first try easily with the rare pets. But i farmed a lot of charms yesterday (which was a pain in the ass with low pet battles) and I didn't know I could buy that from Auction House haha. But good to know for the future! thx

The AH version tends to be kind of expensive. I recently tested the Charms message, and completed two Charms WQ in half-an-hour with Level 1 pets, but ofc I am experienced and know which pets to choose. It's not really hard - just pick three pets that have a Family advantage against the three opponents.

I didn't have Spyragos but I already had TapTaf and Wicker Pup, so I did the Spyragos quest (which doesn't take that long) and then ran back to Timeless Isle and tried this strat. It worked first time and I didn't even have to Consume Corpse! Thanks! (edited)

I succeeded after my 3rd attempt, but I switched some of their abilities (before the 3rd attempt) as follows: Taptaf 121, Spyragos 211, Wicker Pup 111. Pet battles aren't something I normally do, in fact I've only done it occasionally for pet charms and for those 4 mounts from Legion (falcosaurs), so I don't quite remember the order in which I used their abilities for this fight. I basically started with the hardest hitting ones, using Taptaf's Stench twice (worked nicely, he survived longer this way). Never got to use Spyragos' Chain Lightning (got stunned...ofc), I don't think I used Taptaf's Lick either. I don't know if any of this makes any sense, but perhaps it might just help someone, or more experienced players can test it and make a guide. Maybe I just got lucky.

1. Stench does no damage, and you're relying on a % chance that the enemy will miss. This means some people will get a miss almost every time, and some people will get zero enemy misses. Out of my ~ 1700 strategies, I doubt you'll find me using an ability like Stench because it isn't worth the slot/time if you can't guarantee a miss. The only time it's useful is against abilities that have a 50% hit chance or less.

2. My strategy does not indicate to use Chain Lightning.

3. Lick is used to canel out the speed reduction against Judgment, because even if a crit takes your pet out early you'll still have done damage that round, versus if you're slower and completely miss hitting that round completely.

Then I did get lucky. They missed 3 or 4 times, right when my pets were close to dying (Taptaf and Spy). I tried following the above guide but I didn't quite understand much of it as I hardly ever do this and have previously only looked up guides on YT, so I messed around with their abilities and it worked out, luckily.

I used this guide as a base and changed it a bit, instead of Spyragos I used Baal and instead of hoof i used comeback.

the rest I guess is pretty much the same, for Baal I used 1-2-2

Got him twice in 5 pulls w/ this strat, cause I'm a dummy who went straight to him on an alt I was using to go after taptaf and level it, instead of the character on the secret chain.

All three pets are relatively simple to get. Appreciate the strat!

Its an excellent comp !
All three are really easy to acquire with two of them in Drustvar and very few prerequisites for Spyragos
And its super effective ! It took me 3 attempts (edited)
