This strategy worked great on the first two pets, but there was a lot of rng on the third. My snail took 2 crits in a row from Brewly, one for over 1000hp the other for 650hp, while dive was on cd. The meager heal from absorb wasn't enough to keep him alive long enough to get a second dive in.

I found this one to be very RNG-heavy. The custodian got stunned and murdered at first, then started stunning and Tonsa got swapped for Chirps. Think I had to do that part 4 times over.
Then at the end, my wolf missed the howl (twice) against and I ended up losing even when 'just continueing on' Brewly. (The snail couldn't get it down).

When missing howl, I used Mangle from the Wolf and Acidic Goo from Mudshell Conch. That barely made me win it and it's doubtful if I could have, if Mangle actually hit.
Otherwise, great strat, just a bit too RNG :>

This is a 25% risk if I remember correctly. Nothing much that can be done about it :/ Unless you want to give one of the other alternatives a try

Zap and Ion cannon will not kill Tonsa, it has 130 health left after those 2 moves. Unless it's a breed difference. I replaced with shock and awe + Ion cannon. As long as SaA doesn't stun you can follow the strat.
