The Killbot 9000 has less health, so it'll die quicker. However, feel free to use the XD if you don't mind it going a couple more rounds than indicated below. The 8D will not work as a sub. The script is set to Quit if pet 1 does not get DDL into his Undead round. If you're doing it manually, you can quit and restart or riff a little bit and swap pet 1 in to try again.
