At the end you must adapt depending on the situation, Emperor Crab can easily over comes both of the pets. glowcloud	This is RNG and I don't normally like sharing those, but this one was tough for me pet-wise, so I figure people want as many options as possible. Around 80% of the time it wins. When it loses it is often very close and a crit would have saved the day. You might look sometimes and think "that pet is barely hurt, I should save the healing cooldown," but both of the healing cooldowns are also buffs, so you do not want to do that. Also the timing of them is important and you'll want them doing less healing but off cooldown faster. I am not sure if the Shadowback Crawler is breed specific, other breeds might work as well. Honestly, i think it was down to just getting hit by a bad crit which messed up the kill. I did the fight with a PS Inland Croaker, so yeah, would probably be easier with a HH as you surgest so you can get an Ice Lance in :) (edited)

Thank you much. My croaker breeds used in testing were P/P and P/S. This is a tough fight for aquatic. I can see where critical strikes would easily tank it.

glowcloud	This is RNG and I don't normally like sharing those, but this one was tough for me pet-wise, so I figure people want as many options as possible. Around 80% of the time it wins. When it loses it is often very close and a crit would have saved the day. You might look sometimes and think "that pet is barely hurt, I should save the healing cooldown," but both of the healing cooldowns are also buffs, so you do not want to do that. Also the timing of them is important and you'll want them doing less healing but off cooldown faster. I am not sure if the Shadowback Crawler is breed specific, other breeds might work as well.
