	TeoDaTank	Similar to other strats but I didn't like the RNG. I have won 10 times in a row with this fight, it relies a lot less on the damage of Life Exchange, and usually have ~400 in overkill from the final Surge of Power. Due to how Slicing Wind works this fight always has an element of RNG but I am confident with this strat you would need to get multiple 3-slice hits, and a couple crits to fail. If this is true, the Manafiend should have a HP>1481 qualifier.

Edit: yeah it's true. The original strat was fine, but the substitutes need to be filtered to have more health than Legs.

Also, this strat could fail to crits and/or a double 3-shot of Slicing Wind, but should work often enough for a one-off challenge battle. You shouldn't need to try again many times. (edited)

Since I had Coilfang Stalker leveled instead of Legs and it had more health than my Manafiends I simply led with it, followed by Empowered and Eldritch Manafiends. Each used Arcane Storm -> Surge of Power, and the Stalker closed with Surge when brought back in.

This doesn't seem to work post SL pre-patch. I've tried several strats from various sources but Gloamwing is doing massive damage and taking very little. Each time I've passed on first move, the last pet is pulled in, not the Manafiend. Wasting a turn putting the Manafiend in doesn't work. I've tried minor adjustments to compensate for the last pet being first up, but for no result.

Strat worked great, although you should change the pet requirements for it -- add alternatives to coilfang stalker, since all it needs to be is a magic-class that can do surge of power, and there are many of those.

Strat no longer works at least as of 8.2.5. Tried five times w/ the exact setup, ever worked. Will come up 112 HP short every time.

Edit: 100% dependent on getting a Surge crit. If you don't crit, give up.

I didn't need to, but you may need to use 1 ability on your 3rd pet (lantern is good). Also, if EM comes in before Trunks, that is fine, but you may waste more time waiting for When Elekks Fly to connect.

Thanks for this strat, even though it failed every time for me as written (with Coilfang (H/B), Eldritch (P/S) and Mindslayer (P/S). I got it to work finally by using Life Exchange on turn 3. Still used Inner Vision as written on turn 2, even though it did nothing for me as a result of my change. Hope this helps someone else.

I used Life Exchange on turn 2, and then went straight to Mana Surge. That way, I got in two surges, and ended up being switched out and surviving! When I tried to use Inner Vision, I never got Gloamwing low enough to kill with the second surge. Life Exchange and double mana surge worked like a charm tho.

You can substitute an Eldritch/Erudite Manafiend (1/2/1) (pet battles in Azsuna) for the Empyreal Manafiend, so long as its a breed with more than 1481hp. They have the benefit of being high level when caught if you haven't leveled up the Empyreal.

Habe Faelisblues und Sturmbotins Anpassungen hier in den Kommentaren beide teilweise beherzigt (Unheimlicher Manafresser statt Saphirblauer Manafresser und Arkanes Auge statt Beinchen), was aber zur Folge hatte, dass am Anfang das Auge statt des Manafressers eingetauscht wurde, da es mehr Leben hat. Also hab ich einen Kampf mit Auge gestartet, es einmal treffen lassen, aufgegeben und dann den Kampf noch einmal mit dem Auge auf 80% und wieder an 3. Stelle gestartet, dann hat's geklappt!

1. Passen (Schleimling kommt)
2. Säureglibber
3. Korrosion ( Manafresser kommt)
4. Seelenrausch ( man gewinnt den Kampf auch wenn der Stun nicht trifft)
5. Kraftsog (Seelenhändler kommt)
6. Strahl

Statt Beinchen geht auch Arkanes Auge mit 2 - 2 - 2. Manawoge ist ähnlich effektvoll gegen Flossi wie Kraftsog.

Пропускаем ход, выходит второй
Чародейская буря-Прилив мощи- умирает или заменяется, выходит третий
Душевный порыв-Прилив мощи.
Далее либо Мракокрыл умирает, либо первый добивает приливом мощи.
В редких случаях второй питомец может умереть на втором ходу. Тогда лучше начать заново
