Can't confirm. Tried about 20 times. Once the damage lighted up yellow. suppose it should have been a crit but no effect. Might they have suppressed the effects of crit for this fight?

Sorry to hear bud. You can give a go to other strategies but this is using easily available pets and worked for me and a couple of other chaps after a few tries.

Your crit cannot be on surge of power because it will be more than 35% of the boss max health. You have to cross your fingers for your crit to be on ANY other ability that you do.
