Yeah I used Emerald as well but as 2nd pet since I didn't have spawn of G yet, Shell shield then emerald bite to finish him, didn't need a 3rd pet

Best third pet options are Tiny Blue Carp using Mana Surge] or Emerald Turtle using Emerald Bite. ... or just another Moonshell Crab!

I prefer, once you bring G'nathus in, to:
1> Thunderbolt
2> Dive
3> Swallow.
This way, you make sure that it has less than 25%, and the Swallow hits more.

I only have boring aquatic pets, but I got Baneglow down with this group:

Any 2 crabs with Surge + Renewing Mist + Whirlpool
Emerald Turtle (1, 2, 3), as suggested by Tamarack, ty!

Start with the crabs. Keep up Whirlpool and Renewing Mist, Surge to fill in the gaps.
When both crabs are dead, bring in turtle. Shell Shield first, then Emerald Bite until Baneglow dies.

This worked for me with a P/P Emperor Crab and a Magical Crawdad both set up as described, and a Snarly as the third, doing Rip > Blood in the Water > Surge > Surge.

Aww, man. I was so worried about this fight. I'd done Gloamwing, who was by far and away the most obnoxious fight in Argus to beat with aquatics. I thought it was going to be like this again, but it was smooth as butter.

Used 2/2/2 Gahz'rooki instead of the Crab. Open with Geyser and spam Tail Slap until dead and proceed with the strat.

Didn't have Moonshell leveled so I used Ghostshell 1-x-1 and used Emerald Turtle with Emerald Bite as Tamarack suggested for third slot. Keep Spirit Spikes up and Spirit Claws, I used bubble once but that was a waste since Spirit Spikes didn't do damage but I still won after the first try.
