For those like me that haven't been lucky enough to find a Minfernal yet, try this strategy I found on Wowhead by Quashiepoo. It worked first try for me. The only thing I changed was I used a Sapphire Cub instead of a Sanctum Cub for its elemental abilities, but I don't think that it matters that much either way.

Netherspace Abyssal (P/P) (2,2,1)
Lesser Voidcaller (B/B) (1,2,1)
Sanctum Cub (P/P) (1,1,1)

Start with Abyssal
Round 1 and 2 - Meteor Strike
Round 3-6 - Immolate
Abyssal dies, swap in Voidcaller
Round 7 - Curse of doom
Round 8 - Prismatic barrier
Round 9 - Pass
Round 10-13 - Shadow shock
Voidcaller dies, swap in Cub
Round 14 and 15 - Pounce

used a variation of this but with the transmutant(1xx) in the 3 slot. when the voidcaller dies, i just used the first attack on the transmutant twice to finish the fight.

just live at this point. there's prob a LOT better option than wisp but it's all i had and it worked. if i was to do it again, i'd use lanturn or minfernal with ele dmg and lean on the magic passive to live.

minfernal 212 was a great alt.

Immolation-> hard switch instead of evanesence switch

was dead after volcano. gg. kept explode for backup but meteor strike would prob be better if your breeds are cutting this close..

Try Enchnated Lantern 1st, Soul Ward to stay alive, Illuminate then Burn which is great against Mechanical, I used Soul when it was up to get a few more Burns in, then Lofty 2,1,2 strat & Minfernal 2,2,1 strat, no explode obviously ur not a banana. I didnt use Meteor but i guess u cud, GL

Subbing the sapphire cub with a sanctum cub P/B with x/x/1 works just fine on this fight. Just pounce twice, as per Hedu's strat. I also had a P/B minferal, don't know how much a difference that made for the sub.

This strat doesnt work you can kill it easily just by using blood boil and abyssial, keep blood boil in til it dies at this point in the fight minxis is more then half dead.

There's an add-on called Server Hop that will allow you to hop around to different servers until you find Minfernals up. Works to check servers for any rare.

I didn't have a sapphire cub leveled up so I put Trunks in that slot and followed all the other instructions of the guide but used Avalance from trunks and that finished him off instead of the Sapphire Cub just perfectly!

Minfernal 2-x-2
Immolate until close to death and then Explode
Abyssius 1-1-x
Came in only for the extra-mechanical round and Flamethrower and Immolation killed the ship

Wyrmlings work well here, with 2-/-2, coupled with the Minfernal 2-/-2
I used an Untethered and a Shimmering, but they all have the same moveset.

Turn 1. Deflection
2+. Flurry until Wyrmling dies (it will be Round 6)
Bring in Minfernal
1&2. Immolate
3. Explode
Bring in 2nd Wyrmling
1+. Flurry until Minixis dies (Round 11 or 12, same as the strat above)
