Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Solid with anklerender 2/2/2

Round 1: black claw
Round 2-3: hunting party
Round 4: primal cry

If anklerender dies before primal cry - didn't happen to me. Any standard arrack should kill it.

Boraxius wrote on 2017-08-31 02:34:47

Yep, anklerender (2,2,2) can solo this.

Hewozuoai wrote on 2017-08-30 15:47:36

Solo'd with [Zandalari Anklerender] (P/B) 2-2-2

Primal Cry, Black Claw, Hunting Party

Celzerias wrote on 2017-08-30 20:43:30

Worked well, thank you for this! Should be the strat up top.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-08-30 21:23:42

best strat cause the listed one didn't work for me! thanks!

Geki wrote on 2017-08-30 20:58:50

Not sure if I got an unlucky crit, I wasn't really paying attention, but my summit kid was killed by the extra hit maul gets cause I'm bleeding, and was killed before it could release the chew damage. Thankfully it was still quite low and my ravager hatchling was able to mop up.

Nalli wrote on 2017-08-30 17:56:32

Put in the new Antoran Bile Larva(1,1,1) in the 1st slot with both an Zandalari Anklerender(P/P) and Kneebiter(S/S)...Started off using Plagued Blood, then Spit, then swapped after Larva takes Maul hit...put in the Kneebiter, Black Claw -> Hunting Party for the win...sadly, with the Safari Hat on, the Exp was only 246, so not worth leveling a pet here, as is usual with most of the Legendary Pets :)

Shaelai wrote on 2017-08-29 22:27:49

Per a comment on Wowhead's PTR forum:
Two button win using Zandalari Anklerender
Black Claw then Hunting Party.
Worked like a charm

Tatahe wrote on 2017-08-30 06:21:06

Yeah I can confirm a P/B Anklerender will do it, just those 2 skills!

Anon wrote on 2017-08-30 12:18:56

Confirmed. Quick and efficient! Anklerender S/S with 2 skills.

Clewara wrote on 2017-08-29 22:00:15

I had trouble figuring out a strong third beast after the first two got clobbered, so I put Zao, Calfling of Niuzao, in the third slot with Headbutt - X - Dominance, then cast Dominance and Headbutt.

aidos wrote on 2017-08-29 14:09:50

I didnt have a Direhorn runt so I used a Stunted Shardhorn (P/P) 1 2 2 and as third pet i used Xu-Fu 1 1 2

Open with Shardhorne use Smash - Stamped
change to Summit kid - Chew and Headbutt
use xu fu - prowl and feed
