Followed the steps exactly with the recommended pets and it did not work. The emerald proto-whelp didn't even make it through the 1st backline pet (tree python). Maybe I got unlucky with the one I got, but I tried this at least 5 times before giving up.

Worked for me first try in 2024, but I made one change on a whim. After Ikky died, I brought Valkyr back in. Couldn't do much damage with only Shadow Shock available to use, but it was able to tank a few hits from the first backline pet which made the Fel Corruption buff have fewer turns left once my Whelp entered the fight.

Updated version of Liramei's script without the capture, and also improved Ikky logit to use talon when the enemy has shattered defenses instead of being based on the enemy round, which helps if the last flock round happen on the 2nd enemy.

into shadowlands and not working; probably my RNG is the worst in wow at all times but still ... sad panda. oh well. Still no seaborne spore after like 250 battles ... that's is bad RNG

I have switched to using the Darkshore Sentinenel, lava bettle and skyfin or idol to successfully do this post shadowlands. None of the other strategies seem to work any longer! Best of luck!
