I have run this 20 times in a row. 100% success. Very quick easy strategy. Leveled first set of two from 1 -12 and second set of two from 1 - 11 in the 20 runs while wearing Safari Hat. Did not have any Pet Treats on me.

I'm not sure if there are any lvl 1 pets that have a multi-round first action but if there are this should work:

Also it is possible for this to fail if you get crit but it doesn't seem super likely. I only fought 9 times and lost once. (edited)
