I have tried 16 times now. I went out and gathered the H/H crab and it never survives on the backline in the fight. I've tried both the H/H and H/P tiny twister with the same result. The twister either dies before killing the eye or when the eye is in it's undead phase. I can't seem to get it to work no matter what I do

OP should make this update...it is so much smoother and seems to eliminate some of the RNG. I was also able to use a wider variety of crabs instead of needing the H/H. I was able to use an S/S Phoenix Hatchling even.

Nice strat. Yes, it is very close.

I used a H/H Crab.

Assuming no good luck or bad luck with crits, it all comes down to the number of Slicing Winds with added Lightning the Twister gets in on the last pet.You need to get five from two rolls of three, which may take a few attempts.

I tried it, failed once, and then won by going off-strat a little to take advantage of a crit in my favour.

Ideas below for using Sandkeep in the third slot, ow Wild Winds instead of Slicing Winds, are plausible. (edited)

swapping to Sandkeep worked for me, but I found starting with Water Jet, then Sandstorm (to override enemy's weather), then Mudslide, then another Water Jet did the trick. Many thanks!

First try, Mana surge did max damage with a crit to boot, did 1200+ points of damage even with Mudslide knocking out Arcane Winds. Worked the second try.

This is RNG. Any crits from first Leftovers results in Prideling dying too early. And my Lava Crab needed to be H/H to succeed. An H/S did not survive the backrow attack by Leftovers 3.

Agree with Lilianne, this needs a "Breed" tag since it requires an HH Lava Crab to survive.

Tried three times so far, and my Tiny twister has only hit 5 times between 3 slicing winds each attempt...so I'm thinking RNG is not on my side, at least not with a HP twister.

If you want people to actually use this, post it as a strategy showing pets and moves. If you do that correctly, this website can localize it so everyone can read it. For everyone else that doesn't speak French, this is a direct copy of Shenk's excellent strategy for Faryl
