Would appear you can no longer have the hatchling die as a part of the strat unless I did something else wrong. Doesn't seem to work. :(

It works in shadowlands Pre-patch, although using savage talon on shattered defenses makes it a tad quicker. Also, backline pets are generic pets, bring a strong all around beast to make it a breeze.
