Even without speedbuff this can work with a random beast that has enough hp to finish Bucky. Poison fang and zandalari debuffs will do the job.

Huge thanks to my loving Wife who convinced me to camp in Stormheim for the Mist Fox Kit pet.
This was an easy fight, 1st attempt!

I had to use blinding poison to keep my Guardian Hatchling alive for Bucky's swap to be used/go on CD and then manually swap in the Zandalari. One Flurry from the fox was needed for the kill also, but this did ultimately work with these adjustments.

Worked, but some adjustments using Breed specific: SS Felspider *,2,* Brittle Webbing will damage during Bucky's Stampede. PB Alpine Foxling 1,2,2. PB ZA 2,*, 2. Start w/ Brittle Webbing force swapped to Fox, use Dazziling dance. Swap to ZA use Blackclaw & Hunting Party, dead Fox forced in. Howl, Bite x2, win or - died use Spider Brittle Webbing. RNG Fox might win won't go to Spider, might go to Spider which has 50/50 chance for a barely win. I've tried 3x's lost once. Hope this helps with edits for pre-patch 9.1. Feel free to fine tune.

worked. spider died in 4, so bring in fox (bucky will swap to ZA later), I used 1 bite in 5, ZA came in. 6 black claw, 7 8 hunting party.

Not even close to working in SL. Even a HH Poison Fang doesn't have the health to survive until the swap. There's is ZERO scenarios where this strategy works with the posted steps. (edited)

I must have been lucky. It did work on the first try, but not in the order above. (the same pets were used).
There is no way this strat is reliable over time with all the forced pet swaps. I'm sure the win was due to RNG.

This strat worked! Was worried about hunting party, but with poison fang and black claw, it overwhelmed dang Bucky.
