Worked first time with a H/P Minfernal as I didn't have a P/S Creeping Tentacle. Breed doesn't seem that important, or maybe i just got lucky, anyway thanks for the strat

I changed this up a little b/c I don't have my Creepy Tentacle leveled. I used a Sludge Feeler, instead, and I put the leveling pet in slot #2 as suggested by Irix. I'll do a separate write-up, but this strat works very well, just as written. I simply didn't have any of the other Crush magical pets and improvised.

If you want to soak up the exp and have. magic leveling pet available, drop that pet in the second slot and move the 2nd slot pet to 3rd. When Anomalus dies, swap in leveling, then a magic pet with Criush (I used Minifernal) and continue. My leveling pet took no damage.

Anomalus carried the fight for me - I had court scribe in second slot, I think you can get away with pretty much any magic pet in the second slot with an undead attack like Shadow Shock.
