Script works in Shadowlands prepatch. Needed to heal a lot so different to the written strat but it works.

script doesnt work for me in SL. spawn uses dive at round 2 instead of 3 and gets hit by whirlpool. the rest of the script works ok but you should manually do the first 3 rounds.

That first Dive should be cast when Whirlpool has 1 round left so you'll be underwater when it counts.

I used Emperor crab P/P against their crab, same abilities and mine killed theirs. Continued on until mine died.

Used Moonshell Crab 1/2/2 which is good against flying and killed their bird.And continued on until the crab died.

Then used Eternal Strider with 1/1/2 Easily killed theirs with pump/heal/pump

Super simple!!

I was able to solo this entire fight with Emperor Crab (P/P) (2,2,1). Cast Shell Shield, refreshed with 1 round left, always Healing Wave after a Whirlpool on the first opponent and Surge otherwise. First fight took the longest (since they heal too) but after that Emp went on to easily kill the rest - never even brought out another pet.

This works very well. I was able to bring a leveling pet for the third slot. When Grommet dances (buffs - typically right after the last round of Grommet's swarm) I was able to safely swap a 1st level pet in and then out again. I wouldn't recommend a 1st level pet though, Salty's cyclone could kill it while it waits on the bench. A slightly more healthy leveling pet should be safer. I lucked out and didn't suffer any cyclone damage on my leveler.

Your tip for the leveling pet worked perfectly. My Tundra Penguin ran into the ring after Grommet's third swarm, we all watched Grommet dance, then Emperor Crab went back to work and finished up. Thank you for the great tip.

cleared fight easily with [p/hp] shore crab (1 2 2) and [hp/hp] moonshell crab (1 1 1). just keep whirlpool up, heal when neccesary and snap. shore crab kills first pet easily, then one more whirlpool on the bird and he dies fairly fast afterwards. with moonshell crab just keep your shell and healing up constantly and he eats bird. last pet doesnt hurt much as his stampede does zero damage because of your shell. moonshell was 25% hp on bird but finished almost full hp. last pet nearly died because of aoe from winds but never got used anyway.

If dive isn't up on Salty turns 2 & 3 just let him die to Salty. Bring in your crab shell shield healing wave on cooldown and surge until Salty is dead. Use the same strat on Grommet and you'll finish the fight close to full health.

I didn't have Spawn so used Crawdad (1,2,2) to take out first, and (with an almost death at one point) almost all the second pet with him. Emperor crab then finished it off

I have tried this repeatedly, and G'Nathus gets killed on third turn by Swarm before he can dive EVERY SINGLE TIME. Has this fight been changed in an update?

Not that I'm aware of, but if your Spawn survives until Grommet you had a very lucky run anyway and should have no issue finishing the fight with just any Aquatic pet ^^

Just tried it. Worked great. Ended up needing 3 turns of Swallow You Whole to kill Itchy, and was unable to get any off on Salty. My crab got hit pretty hard when it came out, took 2 Surges to kill the next pet. I used heal when available on Grommet, jut to be proactive, not sure if it was actually necessary. Took 24 rounds total.
