As Stilgar points out, Nocturnal Strike can and did miss for me. However, I had 2 Northern Hawk Owls in the last 2 slots so that ended up fine. I used Wild Etherwyrm, 212, Arcane Storm first, then Blinkstrike, then Surge of Power, then Blinkstrike / Arcane storm until Ridge was dead.

It did work for me, but the thing is: the last pet is an elemental and therefore is not technically blinded, so Nocturnal Strike can still miss, easily...
