Leonard's sweep can make things messy but it's relatively rare and the fight is really easy when you avoid it (arcane eye can be switched for any max level magic pet in that case). But with this setup I've managed to not lose even when I get hit with awkward switches.

According to the newest comments from this year, Leonard doesn't go to the undead phase with mana surge anymore. Still doable. Did not waste my cast on switching out the pets, just went with the flow. One shot.
