This is a great strategy. I love adding a level pet even if it means not much xp :p I’ve been running a slightly modified version of this strat. Basically I was running a P/P Nexus Whelpling instead of a Stormborne Whelpling and if I got high enough rolls on my Mana Surges I would use Ion Cannon without Supercharge if Grazers HP was below 1152

So then I decided I wanted to avoid the low rolls if possible. So the modification is basically skip turn 5 and swap to your Microbot as soon as Grazer comes in. This means you always have to Supercharge (Unless your 2nd Mana Surge manages to get a kill). This saves around 10 seconds if you get low rolls and I believe it only works with a P/P Nexus Whelpling. Below is a copy of the crude script.

I'm not sure why, but after my Stormborne Whelpling dies, this script brings in Microbot XD, but then next turn it swaps in my leveling pet, which was a lvl 23 Timeless Mechanical Dragonling. And it keeps swapping in my TMD if my Microbot XD is active.

I didn't have a levelled Microbot XD so used Stonegrinder and a Level 17 pet instead. This was useful as Whelpling got hit by Moth Dust's sleep spell on the first turn, throwing out the turns completely. I had to do:
Turn 1: Slept
Turn 2: Asleep - Pass
Turn 3: Arcane Storm
Turn 4-5: Mana Surge - enemy pet died, Peachick came in
Turn 6: Mana surge continued
Turn 7: Switched to Putrid Geist
Turn 8: Agony (Geist got hit by a critical Slicing Wind for 691 damage)
Turn 9: Switched back to Stormborne Whelpling
Turn 10: Arcane Storm
Turn 11: Mana Surge - enemy pet Peachick dies
Turn 12: Mana Surge continues - Whelpling died
Turn 13: Bring in Stonegrinder - Supercharge
Turn 14: Screeching Gears
Turn 15: Clean-Up - Golden Grazer dies

So the levelling pet, if you get hit by Sleep in the first turn, needs to withstand a 691 hit.

Echo Roweboy. This works great for a leveling pet (even if it's not a lot of xp for leveling). Every lil bit helps in the grand scheme of things. Thx, Rosqo.

WQ gives a whooping 160 xp with hat to a lvl 1 pet, leveling it to lvl 3

In other words, better level in legion

Thanks, these teams were created to complete all SL wqs with just 3 pets but I'm glad it's helpful in a other way.
