A new expansion is not complete without a new Family Battler achievement!
This edition of it comes very lightweight, you only need to defeat the 4 new tamers added with the introduction of Khaz Algar.

FYI if you haven't done this yet, do it on a leveling alt. I was getting 8845 exp for each battle. 8845 x 40 battles really added up. you also get another 17k exp for any one that is also a world quest that day.
Patch 11.0.5 will be adding the missing Family Battler of Khaz Algar achievement.
EDIT: If your account completed all the criteria prior to said patch, the achievement won't reward you the Fuzzy pet. There is no work-around and the devs are aware of this issue. Issue is now fixed as of November 13, 2024 and those affected should see the pet in their Pet Journal.(edited)
Kinda feels like the devs are gradually doing away with pet battle stuff, or just don't really care anymore, given how the requirements for these achievs have gotten smaller and smaller. It's obviously not a priority at all anymore... which is kinda sad, but also somewhat welcome, given how ridiculously time consuming some of the older achievements were. I guess it isn't really surprising given battles haven't changed in like 10 years :/
Saw it mentioned on WoWhead, and have confirmed it for myself: These achievements can be done even if the related world quests aren't up, and you can do them all on one character with no downtime in between.
Only imported 29 but then I realised that is becuase there are only 29 fights with a team currently :) WIP of course ... awesome work as always though - thank you!
