The abilities for pets in the 3rd slot usually don't matter, they're just sitting there with the highest HP for correct force-swaps. To use them as backups, you could put any matching pet with a direct Humanoid attack in there.
Unfortunately, Tina is wasting her Dragonkin passive on the Rotten Little Helper, otherwise Dark Fate would deal enough damage to defeat Tina with just that Mighty Charge afterward. So usually, when Tina doesn't deal >430 damage with Emerald Bite (very unlikely, even with its Moonlight-buffed 325-487 damage range) before our Dark Fate , it'll take us 12 rounds. |

A solid finisher for the 3rd slot is ideal. Keep in mind, the fight can go sideways with Call Darkness and the 3rd slot may have to strike out the side.
My scripts are still messy, you have my sincerest apology if it does not work. As written, the script works well through turn 11 if Darkness does not cause you to miss. |

I was wrong about the Breed and the Kick. At that point, Faceripper is in, and is slower than any breed of Flayer, so your Flayer doesn't need any particular speed.
I had a similar, slightly less successful experience with a H/H on my second test.
I didn't math it out, but there is clearly significant RNG in the Blitz, and I also note that you might be in a situation to use Deflection against a second Proto-Strike.
I would say that, as we judge strats, this is "almost a full strat". Using the Flayer as directed here will certainly get you MOST ofthe way through the battle, and it might win for you on its own. Any strong second pet will finish it off for you.
