Tentacle Slap until Azerite Elemental dies. I found that refreshing

Forboding Curse with your Creeping Tentacle ends up causing you to die and you're better off not refreshing it and getting in an extra

Tentacle Slap instead.

Even with good RNG earlier in the fight, bad RNG on tentacle slap damage easily sinks this strat. It does work, but requires favorable RNG at many points.

Worked first try for me. I also managed to get an additionnal tentacle slap from my hungering claw. Thanks for the strat!

I used a third tentacle in place of Syd the Squid and it worked well but I also had no misses due to darkness.

With a couple of misses with Syd the Squid on enemy #2, this strat failed for me. With no misses, the strat went very well. As you said, Darkness causes RNG, as it does with most strats for this fight. I'd say have Illusionary Barrier up on the Creeping Tentacle, just in case you need to block some hits from the Elemental.
