If you don't own an S/S Taipan Rosso or an S/S Cucciolo di Serpente della Morte, the Taipan Rosso is a wild pet captured in Stormheim.
Shadowlands Update: Due to the changes made to Impeto, Pelle di Pietra and other similar abilities no longer block all three rounds of Stampede. This means the Feline Familiar will be affected by Shattered Defenses when Wumpas comes in. The fight still works even though the Feline Familiar doesn't live as long, I just had to change the rules around when Veleno Accecante is used. The first pet doesn't matter as much anymore, as Stoneskin is no longer a criteria. I'm adding some other strategies using the Rose Taipan and a collection of alternatives for the first pet, so hopefully there's one that suits your collection. |

Any Direhorn with more than 245 speed will work in the first slot. That includes the Cucciolo di Cornofurente with Incornata Sanguinaria, Calpestamento, and Pelleferrea. If using this pet, simply use Ironskin on turn three instead of Trihorn Shield, and when attacking, use Trample until you drop below 50% HP, then use Horn Gore instead. (The Beast Racial only boosts one part of Trample's damage. The other part always deals 10% of the enemy's maximum health.) No changes to the TD script will be needed.
Another alternative pet in slot one is an Pirochela Infernale. Use Armatura a Guscio on turn 3, and otherwise use Alito di Fuoco until it dies. (Don't use Terra Bruciata to try and speed it up, it does too much damage to you Rose Taipan.) Once again, no changes to the TD script are necessary if using an Infernal Pyreclaw. |

I followed the plan for the Anklerender, when it died, I sent in Summit Kid and used Stampede. That killed the second pet, and I managed to apply the debuff on Baeloth. When my Summit Kid died, I sent in my snake. Used Vicious Fang first, while Baeloth still had the debuff, then Blinding Poison, followed by Puncture Wound. If Baeloth isn't dead yet, use another Vicious Fang.. I don't know if it helps anyone, but I figured I'd throw it out there :)

prowl pounce, switch, web/leech spit/leech rotation until everything is dead (wumpas kills first spider, bring back feline familiar for healing debuff until dead).

(this might not work everytime since when I tested it, I got 2 rounds of stun on Baeloth from Volcano, but ended up with Albino River Calf almost full HP and Cinder Pup still alive in the back. Clobber instead of Headbutt might be safer, not sure if it works)

S/S Anklerender, Black claw + Hunting Party killed Thurg. Applied Black Claw to Wumpus, who then killed my Anklerender with Headbutt.
Sent in P/P Kneebiter, started off with Hunting Party since Black Claw was already applied. Killed Wumpus (he tried to Hibernate in his third round but too late!).
Baeloth stunned Kneebiter, and then applied Roar, but since Wumpas had done close to no damage on him I still managed to apply Black Claw before Kneebiter died.
H/S Amethyst Spiderling applied Brittle Webbing, so Baeloth got himself down to half his HP, and one Spiderling Swarm ended the fight with my spiderling still having 700 HP left.
