First pet:
Any breed of Dissanguatore Sazio works, but P/P is best. Second pet: Any pet that can finish off Alex if needed, then reliably and quickly kill Dah'da. The following pets can be used with the abilities listed. They use different abilities, which sadly means I can't add them as alternatives in the pet info box at the top, but I've written the TD script in a way that works with them all. I've tested each one myself, using different breeds of Dissanguatore Sazio. Again, it will reread the entire script from top to bottom each round, so how many times you see Hoof listed is not relevant to how often it will be used. Please try it out first! I did write the script in 2020, so if any of the pets or abilities have had changes to health, damage, speed, or cooldown times on abilities, that could affect the success of the script.
One final note is that the strategy above is marked RNG, which means things like a critical strike by you or by the enemy can change whether the script succeeds or fails! (edited)

In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)
Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.
Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.
If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:
1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.
2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.
3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?
4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.
Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.
In this case, I tried it, with a H/H Scourged Whelpling, and it worked fine. I did need the final Hoof from the Ghastly Kid as in the instructions, but that was reasonable.
Ofc, every time you bring Darkness to a battle, you're bringing your own carry-on RNG with you, so there is always a chance of a problem with that.
But since you didn't give any details of what went wrong, and since it worked fine when I did it, there is nothing anyone can do about your comment.
