glowcloud	This is RNG and I don't normally like sharing those, but this one was tough for me pet-wise, so I figure people want as many options as possible. Around 80% of the time it wins. When it loses it is often very close and a crit would have saved the day. You might look sometimes and think "that pet is barely hurt, I should save the healing cooldown," but both of the healing cooldowns are also buffs, so you do not want to do that. Also the timing of them is important and you'll want them doing less healing but off cooldown faster. I am not sure if the Shadowback Crawler is breed specific, other breeds might work as well. Don't use this useless tactic > go with this one:
Caverndark nightmare (1,2,2) > 3 1 2 > first pet dead
Ghostshell crab (2,2,1)
Emerald turtle (1;*;*)

just use spirit spikes on cooldown and spam damage, totally obliterated it with this setup

I saw CBlom's comment so checked this Caverndark suggestion out, with logging. It failed for me, but I only tried it once, and I did take a crit on that try. One specific thing though is that three hits from the Caverndark Nightmare did not kill the first pet. It might, of course, if you got a crit with Darkness or Nightmare.

Like most of these strats for especially difficult Family battles, it has a healthy RNG quotient. Maybe with some analysis, some slightly better sequence could be constructed.

I do admire people like the author of this page's strat, who take the time and trouble to work through the various cases. I considered doing some work on the Caverndark stratm to see if I could raise its reliability a bit, but I'm too lazy!

Three pets worked to win fight shadowlands prepatch but I got pet swapped and had to change spells but it did work with these pets.

When I was supposed to Stampede with my Coastal Skuttler, Ticker had the Cocoon shield up, so I did one Pinch instead and then used Stampede to get the full benefit. Pinching after just barely got me the win with a sliver of health left on my Skuttler. My Strider *did* survive. (Notes: My Strider is SS breed, Emperor Crab is PP breed, and Skuttler is HH breed.)

I replaced the Coastal Scuttler with a Hermit Crab (S/S) 1/2/1.

Molaze will swap your pet to Hermit Crab during the first swap. Just swap in the Emperor Crab and proceed like normal. When it's time to bring the Hermit Crab in for real, priority is: Bubble when available, Dive if Ticker is immune, otherwise Pinch.

Here's a TD script for this strategy (though using Pump twice instead of 2xWater Jet). Was able to win with this three times in a row while testing:

That one gave the perfect run. Thanks it is a bit different than what is done above but it worked perfectly on first try for my thanks. Gave me the last fight win that I needed for the Family Battler. :D

I really struggled using Scuttler in 3rd position so used Moonshell Crab ( 1/2/1 ) and smashed it !

Unfortunately, this is one of those fights that (heavily) depends on RNG. I have tried 10 times so far, and neither of my two striders can make it to the second pump - let alone the wind buffet. The whole strategy falls apart anyway, if Lily uses the Eat the Fly ability. (edited)

I used a S/S Froglet with 1 1 2., as I did not have an aqua strider.
Toxic skin
Tongue Lash
Cleansing Rain
Tongue Lash
I refreshed my toxic skin when it was going to fall off.

After that just kinda went with the rest of the strat above.
The 374 was key i think to getting it to work with the froglet too.

I was really struggling with this fight, and just consistently got killed by Ticker (if I got to him). The RNG is so annoying. So I just tried to get faster attackers and voila!

I agree... Been working this now 4 hrs and I tried this one 3x and seems it has to be right breed of Emperor crab. Mine is HH and so swap kicked tail. I tried without swap and still last one kills me.

Yeah it has to be PP. I tried to figure out how to set breeds but it was still listing all the alts. I tried the HH one but then the Scuttler swaps in instead. 2nd emperor is easy to pick up though and totally worth it.

I was just able to do with HH Emperor, but I think it is imperative that Aqua Strider survives the Wind Buffet. When the Scuttler swaps in, just immediately swap to the Emperor and then continue as above.

glowcloud	This is RNG and I don't normally like sharing those, but this one was tough for me pet-wise, so I figure people want as many options as possible. Around 80% of the time it wins. When it loses it is often very close and a crit would have saved the day. You might look sometimes and think "that pet is barely hurt, I should save the healing cooldown," but both of the healing cooldowns are also buffs, so you do not want to do that. Also the timing of them is important and you'll want them doing less healing but off cooldown faster. I am not sure if the Shadowback Crawler is breed specific, other breeds might work as well.
