The Void Gate in turn 7 missed my Bone Serpent and from there I couldn't figure out how to recover and the rest of the fight failed terribly. Worked perfectly the second time when Shadeflicker did not miss, though I did need three claws to finish the fight. (edited)

You probably have the H/H Bone Serpent. Void Gate forces in your highest health pet, so the only way Bone Serpent would come in first, is if it has >1400 hp. I'll add a breed restriction to the strat.
