Script got stuck. Wasn't paying attention, just smashing A to auto-battle. Looked over, and Lesser Voidcaller had died and it was just stuck on pet selection.

Looking at the logs in PBLK, something seems really off. Almost as if I was using a different script for the battle than intended. This may have been a user-error on my part.
I'm long since done with that particular battle anyways.

Ah, to me it looks like maybe your lesser voidcaller had more hp than Baa'l? This probably caused them to swap in instead, and the script just ran with ability 1 until it died. Pet 3 has to have less hp than Baa'l. So not really user-error, since Rematch doesn't do health values well, unfortunately. ^^'

what dragons said. unfortunately whenever there is a hp requirement you gotta manage those pets manually, simply copying the string aint enough.
and yup...adding that screenshot does help a lot. i wish more people would do that

I ran into an issue where Baal was forced swapped on turn 9 with my third pet. I rectified this by using a random lvl 10 magic pet. This way, the magic pet could take one hit then die to Bucky's second attack. If the third pet survives, this strat doesn't work.

I think you may have brought Baa'l in instead of your 3rd pet after you used Explode with pet 1. Here's what the strat's rounds + Bucky's rounds look like:

Turn 1: Pass with your pet 1 - Bucky uses Void Gate, Baa'l swapped in
Turn 2: Baa'l uses Murder the Innocent - Bucky uses Stampede
Turn 3: Baa'l uses Shadowflame - Bucky's Stampede continues
Turn 4: Swap to your pet #3 - Bucky's Stampede finishes
Turn 5: Pass with your pet 3 - Bucky uses Void Gate, Pet 1 swapped in
Turn 6: Pet 1 uses Immolate - Bucky uses Trample

Also, keep in mind that Rematch does not handle health values well, so you need to make sure that pet 3 has less health than Baa'l before beginning the fight. For example, when I used the Rematch string, it slotted a pet with more health than Baa'l, and I had to choose a different pet.

An alternative strat I found after messing around with all my magic pets.
Extinguished eye (1,1,2) took rebirth just in case
Eye of corruption (2,2,2)
Anomalus (2,1,1)

Round 1 pass eye of corruption comes in
Round 2 eyeglass
Round 3 nether blast
Round 4 life exchange
Round 5 nether blast anomalus comes in
Round 6 toxic fumes
Round 7 corrosion
Round 8 pass or use attack anomalus should die from nether gate
Round 9 Extinguished eye is in. Eyeblast
Round 10 focused beam and bucky dies

At any point Is something is off at the end use dark rebirth to give you a couple extra rounds.

This will NOT work with the Shadowlands pre-patch if your Minfernal is of type B/B, P/P, P/S or P/B. He dies before he can get the Explode off. I published an alternate strat that requires your first pet to have the Portal ability and runs Baa'l second and the Minfernal third. It also eliminates ALL RNG from the fight.

Just used a B/B Minfernal successfully. Only issue I had was that Rematch kept putting a pet with more health than Baa'l in the 3rd slot until I manually selected one with less.

I used P/B infernal first try win. Tho i had an S/P pet selected randomly in third slot and the script did not work with it. It got swapped into battle instead of Baal always. But after i realized and selected a random BB pet for third it was first try win with the working script.
