I actually was able to do this on the first try, with a little bit of luck, and an HP Moonshell Crab 260 speed, despite the instructions to have >285. I just followed the "if you are very unlucky" instructions and I was able to finish off the last pet with the Mana Surge. Good stuff!

Managed the fight alright but notes should be turned into more moves.
