Dread Hatchling part is kinda rng, luckily it's the 1st pet so restarts aren't too taxing.
Just use 2 moths for remaining pets and sleep/cocoon/strike as usual, works wonders. Pretty sure 3 moths should cut it, as they always do.

Then it must have offered me this strat since I did have a Dread Hatchling, I guess? Maybe because this has a slightly higher star rating, even though it's based on a lesser number of actual ratings. IDK, but I didn't go looking for the moth strat since I was already here and just saw the comment.

If you don't specify the abilities that aren't used then the system can more easily recommend other pets that might work. For example, the Frys only use Arcane Blast so a Sky Fry would also work but the Sky Fry doesn't have the exact same abilities so it won't be suggested.

Only changes I made were using Anzu's Blessing on Round 1 with Splat. I only got 1 Shadow Talon off before Splat killed the Dread Hatchling, (which was nowhere close to setting off Explosion), so I took the opportunity to build up the Nether Ray Fry's damage with Arcane Blast against Splat. I was able to kill him without him getting the chance to explode. Then I was able to Arcane Blast until the Nether Ray Fry killed Brite. Never used 3rd pet.

Since Devious said they had issues if Feathers didn't use Lift-Off first, I restarted until that happened. Feathers got both of his Nocturnal Strike hits off on me, which doesn't get the Hatchling much more dead than that. However, my breed of Nether Ray Fry was faster than Feathers with its hp below 50%, and two Arcane Blasts saw him dead. Arcane Blasted Splat until he exploded and killed my Nether Ray Fry and himself. Fledgling Nether Ray and Brite were both at 100% hp, and I did not win the fight. If Brite had used cyclone once, giving me a 'damage free' round, I might have managed, but the RNG wasn't in my favor.

In conclusion, this works best if the Dread Hatchling manages to get 1 hit and Anzu's Blessing off on Splat, making sure that the Nether Ray Fry doesn't drop so low on hp that Splat ends up faster and explodes on it.

I probably had great RNG the times I tested it, it can be a rough fight with some of the families I think.

In 6 attempts the only time Dread Hatchling killed Feathers was when he did Lift Off first. He didn't get anywhere close to killing Splat. Thankfully Nether Ray was able to finish Splat and final pet.
