I had a P/S Kneebiter, P/B Toenibbler, and S/S Anklerender.
From what i am reading in comments you want more p/b or p/p breeds as speed does not hit the minimum damage. |

Marking as RNG for wayward crits. If all goes well, your Hoofhelper will never go against Bruce. I haven't had it happen, but I can see by Jingles' hp that it is possible if he's the one to eat the stun.
It has to be the P/P breed of Anklerender, as Primal Cry just barely clears Chum's hp, and this is so we can get Black Claw on Bruce to help Jingles out. |

Bruce is of course capable of creating some problems, but I've found that this seems to have the most consistent results for myself.
I have not tested this with any other breeds other than what I have, so results might be slightly different. Anklerender and Footlasher: P/P I feel the Lurking Owl Kitten works well against Bruce due to being able to be faster and exploit his weakness. |

With that in mind, and the fact that Hiss is selected for Bruce, I set the power for the snake based on OP's toggle, and the speed to be faster than pet 1 & 3.
That said, I've written the script to prioritize the speed reduction. The primary failure (not all of them, just the biggest) comes from the Vombata not being able to pull its weight, because of a Blood in the Water hit. This can't be timed, because Maws Jr.'s moves are random. As are Bruce's, and probably Chum's, but I don't precisely recall.
