I did not have a levelled up Grappling Gauntlet so i used a Blightbreath (H/S) 1,2,1.

Followed your guide till Blighted Squirrel was dead, then I used Toxic Smoke, Acid rain, Toxic Smoke till Four-Legs died and then Dreadful breath till Swoopgrasp died.

Did not need the 3rd pet.

Used a poor Grip of Terror and it killed the last two pets with 1/2/1 - got lucky on the stun from Tornado Punch.

Also used an Infected Squirrel, kept Creeping Fungus up and just used Swarm.

This strat was great, gave an awesome idea on how to win - thanks DragonsAfterDark!
