This fight is tough with elementals, due to the nature of the opponent's abilities. Bassalt,
Clawz, and Murrey do NOT follow a set move pattern, its randomized for every encounter. There are roughly 3-4 different ways this can play out (at least from what I've seen in my testing). If there is a crit or something cast by the opponent's out of order, you're better off reseting the battle. If you have any suggestions, or found a tweak to this strat that works better, let me know! There are probably other combinations - feel free to add them in the comments, and I'll adjust the strat :) |

Updated with a different middle pet. Because Clawz uses their moves randomly, your experience can vary from what I've outlined, but it is fairly solid for this comp.

Wrathling (1-1-1), Corehound Pup (1-2-2), Tiny Twister (2-2-2, I used H/S breed but I believe any will work)
Wrathling starts out with Breath of Sorrow and Surge of Power to cheese down Bassalt. If Wrathling gets a turn against Clawz then Breath of Sorrow him and then Wrathling dies. Bring in Corehound Pup next and your priority is to Dodge and then Burrow to avoid Clawz's first attacks and then Scratch him down.
The only non-RNG aspect of this encounter is that Murrey will always cast Cute and Cuddly on his first turn and even then you should try to Dodge or Burrow, but more than likely you will only be able to Claw and then die. In an ideal world the Cute and Cuddly buff will be off of Murrey but even if it is not you should have Tiny Twister start with Call Lightning, then put up the Wild Winds, then Bash him over the noggin or hit him with a killing Wild Winds to cruise to a close victory.
