Didn't work for me, because I always scored a crit on Cockroach which made it die 1 turn too early. This caused Cat to be able to destroy my Chuck before I could land Blood in the Water. Toothy also died to Cat. Guess with a better (not random) 3rd pet I could have still won, but Aqua Strider wasn't good enough.
