Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!

Curse of Doom should come before Unholy Ascension

It can be either way. This is Antoran Wastes fight, so she's Damned to begin with, and the fight is shorter than duration of the ascension debuff. Might still be true for some supplements though :-)

The point was that if you use Unholy Ascension first she's dead so she won't have the opportunity to cast Curse of Doom the next round as you'll be spending that next round with the squirrel, no?

dazer wrote on 2018-11-14 19:33:47

You can cast it in this particular fight, as she's on the undead phase from the get go.

aelfraed wrote on 2019-06-17 21:42:41

she dies and the buff is applied as she rezzes, then last turn is curse of doom. Worked a treat.

WOW! Great strat, didn't even get to Corpse Explosion DEAD!

aelfraed wrote on 2019-06-17 21:41:00

same. like a knife through butter

Tiresias wrote on 2018-06-18 22:31:38

If you do not have an Unborn Val'kyr you can use a Voodoo Figurine
Wild Magic
Rot
Then you bring in the Infected Squirrel with Stampede. This is my go to cheat team for a lot of pet battles

I can't wait to test this out, seems a cheaper strategy if like me, you are missing the seasonal Widget the Departed :)
