I tested it at least 20 times and it hasn't failed once. Runehoof will rarely get the chance to ruin anything, as he'll almost always get just 1 attack in, and it's when facing a pet who's already done his job.
There was only one battle where my first Rotten Little Helper didn't live long enough to cast the second Booby-Trapped Presents, but my Void-Scarred Anubisath was able to finish off Runehoof. That happened when he got crit by a very high-roll Burrow on round 3, so he was under 25% hp when Duster used Predatory Strike. In most cases, Predatory Strike shouldn't be able to kill him. (On one battle, Predatory Strike crit him and he lived on 1HP.) |

Didn't have the 3rd pet for Propagates strategy. This worked even getting hit with 2 crits, and another time being stunned once. Probably RNG due to mothballs.

I don't encourage using Lil'bad wolf ss type.

This is so incredibly RNG... Genuinely recommend trying to find a better alternative than this. This is what I managed to finish the fight as, it took me 3 tries. I didn't have the other pets required. Good luck...

Followed the strat for the first pet as listed.
Didn't bother howling, just used Claw until my Lil' Bad Wolf died.
Used Call Lightning and just Zap right after, didn't bother using Swarm of Flies on Runehoof. Didn't need to.
On third enemy pet, used Swarm of Flies then my Runt died.
Used Gift of Winter Veil and Call Blizzard as listed, last pet died and my Helper still had plenty of health left. (editiert)
