I tested it at least 20 times and it hasn't failed once. Runehoof will rarely get the chance to ruin anything, as he'll almost always get just 1 attack in, and it's when facing a pet who's already done his job.
There was only one battle where my first Rotten Little Helper didn't live long enough to cast the second Booby-Trapped Presents, but my Void-Scarred Anubisath was able to finish off Runehoof. That happened when he got crit by a very high-roll Burrow on round 3, so he was under 25% hp when Duster used Predatory Strike. In most cases, Predatory Strike shouldn't be able to kill him. (On one battle, Predatory Strike crit him and he lived on 1HP.) |

I don't encourage using Lil'bad wolf ss type.
Ironically, when I played I used ss type and so...hard.. It's very RNG and good luck! |

Didn't have the 3rd pet for Propagates strategy. This worked even getting hit with 2 crits, and another time being stunned once. Probably RNG due to mothballs.

(I didn't use Anubisath Idol because his Crush is weak against Beast and Demolish is 50% hit)

Bonkers will start with a Bite followed by a Going Bonkers!. If the Burrow crits, start over. If it's normal damage between 600-750, keep going. Your next two Bite's are now empowered and will do about 630 damage each. Depending on your damage with the first round Bite, you only need 2 Bites to kill him. During the testing, two times Slugger had 4 hp left after the two empowered Bite's because I didn't hit hard enough in the first round Bite. It's okay though, as long as Bonkers kills Slugger, it's fine! When Runehoof comes in, don't switch and let Runehoof kill your Bonkers with his Headbutt, he now wasted his best attack on a dying pet :P
Next up is Void-Scarred, start with Sandstorm and then three Spiritfire Bolt's, you might get stunned somewhere but that's okay, keep counting. Make sure to use Deflection after those three Bolt's because his Headbutt is now off cooldown. You will block/dodge that Headbutt, use one more Spiritfire Bolt and then Sandstorm. Runehoof should be dead now.
Duster comes in. I was lucky in my match because all but one of his Moth Balls missed, hopefully you are lucky too. I used Spiritfire Bolt and then Deflection to dodge the Predatory Strike. Then Void-Scarred died and Winter's Helper came in. Use his Gift of Winter Feil, then Call Blizzard and Ice Lance to win the match! I hope this works for you as well :) good luck!
