this only worked for me when i pass 3 times untill xu-fu dies after trailblazer comes in. otherwise it killed both of my remaining pets (editado)

did the swap as my xufu was still alive but supercharge+ion cannon didn't line up with enemy dodge...

Have been using this strat since it first appeared on Xufu. Always has worked perfectly, until today. Failed 4 times in a row. :( double checked everything.

No Luck with strat again today. Changed to the Iron Starlette / Specimen 97 strat and worked perfectly.

ok writing this (this time, as i do the strat) this is the third try... xu-fu, moon fire, spirit claws, spirit claws, enemy pet goes to undead state ... prowl enemy pet dies and enemy 2 (stinkdust) comes in moon fire kills stink dust trail blazer comes in pass, Xu-Fu is still alive bring in xd super charge, i get hit go in to undead phase i hit ion cannon, i got hit , and hit again and dead..... this happened 3 times, i tried again, followed the same steps (even took from my notes from the third try here, so that i was doing it exactly the same way... and that time it succeeded... i guess this strat just don't like me lol .. at least i was able to get it to work 1 of the 4 times :-) *also the re wording of the strat i believe is what i was doing the other times that it failed oh well i tried :-(

Your microbot Xd doesn't have to survive on Turn 10 because Trailblazer dies on Turn 10 and you have Xu Fu(most of the time) + any pet(slot3) in the backline. So this strat only fails if Microbot XD isn't able to cast ion connon (really unlikely) (editado)

it failed ... every time .. i hit the ion cannon but before it went off i was hit ... it didn't work for me ... you can say "really unlikely" but that is how it happened ... it didn't work for me!!! i stand by what i said

i understand you are not happy that it didn't work... again the truth is important to me and to make insinuating remarks that it is really unlikely... you are not taking in to account RNG factors and no strat is going to be 100%

i tried to be helpful by explaining what i did because that is what we do to help each other out to make the best of this site so that improvements can be made.

if the ONLY thing we hear is the positive about a strat, when one fails it can not be improved upon. i don't mean this in disrespect but in a way that we can all help each other... and insinuating on someone not being truthful is a hurtful way to handle things.

we learn and we grow... all knowledge is learning and therefore good

i guess i was just unlucky with it ... i did follow the script to the letter, and it did fail 3 times in a row. we have one thing in this life that can not be taken from us and that is our integrity ... that can be destroyed by our word... so the truth is extremely important to me. i have no idea why it failed 3 times in a row but it failed 3 times in a row. IF i can figure out how to copy the log when it is up i will try again, maybe it was a bad day for RNG ... no matter the "strange probability" i am a truthful person

I don't think anyone much lies about what they believe happened when posting here, and I certainly don't believe you did.

People often make mistakes, though, in what they think they did, and sometimes they misread the instructions. I've done that more than once myself. That's normal.

Pretty much every difficult strat has a failure chance, and it's always worth identifying where that can happen.

i will try again... just have not got over to the pet master yet... so many world quests so little time lol :-) appreciate the changes, interpretation is a big thing... although i did follow it even with the video, but even there it's not always easy to see things the way they are intended... :-)

tried 3 times failed every time... pets are all level 25, Xu-Fu is P/P breed microbot xd is H/P breed, and had a darkmoon zep in the third slot... microbot died every time before the ion cannon followed script to the letter including the pass moves. not sure why it didn't work :-(

Hm. Nice strat, Mutanis! I'm switching to this one.

I just did it myself and I'm scratching my head how it could fail, assuming Microbot gets to enter at the right time to face Trailblazer.

Microbot has 1619HP. If BOTH Bonestorms AND Spirit Claws crit, I make that about 1510 damage, so Spore Burst would bring it to Failsafe, and then the final Spirit Claws would finish it before it got its Ion Cannon off, but that's a really unlikely sequence of events - not something that happens three times in a row.

PureArmour, if you can get a log of a fail together, it might be enlightening.

Ok the strategy is failing
if 2x Bone Storm + Spirit claws(R8) + Spore Burst(R8) >= 1619
because I am too lazy to calculate the probability; I simulate the fights with 1M attempts
--> failingrate: ~0.72%
So the winrate is still decent ~ 99.28%
i used excel + vba to simulate it (lol)

Yeah, my comment above was along the same lines. But that's not surprising: a lot of strats have have a ~1% chance of failure, and most people never notice, because an occasional fail is no big deal, and we don't repeat them that often. With that kind of probability, a report of three fails in a row is strange, though, from somebody who likely is doing the strat correctly.
