As long as you change Deep Bite to Tail Slap you can get about a 20% win ratio because of so much RNG from your crits or theirs. If you don't kill Bone Crusher with Call Lightning + Tail Slap while Shattered Defenses is up, abandon and restart.

Just finished with a S/S Chitterspine and P/P Slimy Eel using 1/1/2 on my Hydraling. Turns should look something like this:

Turn 1: Call Lightning
Turn 2: Whirlpool
Turn 3: Swap to your Chitterspine Skitterling
Turn 4: Black Claw
Turns 5-7: Swarm
Chitterspine should kill Bloog, and hit Bone crusher with 1 hit of swarm before dieing.
Bring in your Hydraling
Turn 8: Call Lightning
Turn 9: Swap to Slimy Eel (We don't want Bone Crusher to heal off devour)
Turn 10: Moonfire (Bone Crusher dies)
Turn 11: Swap to Hydraling so it dies to wind buffet
Turn 12: Phase Shift
Use moonfire when it comes up and spam netherblast and should win if you don't get critted!

I didn't have a Slimy Eel, but you can also do this tactic with Inky by using bubble and dive to dodge lift-off damage and just slowly whittling him down with Tentacle Stab beyond that.

Dont have any of the slimy pets, so i used a PP Bloodseeker with 222, followed the strat until Chipper comes in then if lift off was available bubble, then sneak attack until lift off was ready then dive, and that killed him.

I used PP inland croaker in 1st slot, and Hydraling with tail slap instead of deep bite in second. Used blizzard, ice tomb the ice lance till croaker died. It took a couple tries but worked much better for me.

1. Swap Deep Bite with Tail Slap, or you *NEED* a P/S Skitterling. (S/B won't do enough damage with Swarm to make Call Lightning + Deep Bite a kill)
2. If Call Lightning Crits on Turn 1, restart. Your Call Lightning won't be ready when Bone Crusher comes in. (edited)

Even with my P/S Skitterling I had to use Tail Slap, its minimum damage is 355 with Shattered Defenses and usually Bonecrusher has 342HP left when Call Lighning hit and I think often players won't get a chance for a 2nd Deep Bite. With this small change... great strategy, thank you Fysher!

Did not work for me in the first try. My P/S Chitterspine died in round 5 with Bloog at 623 health. On my second try, where I tried to let the Shell Armor eat the dive before switching to Chitterspine, Chitterspine still died to Bloog, this time with Bloog at 991 health... Then I tried the first again, and now it worked. Lots of RNG for sure! Also, count on Chipper to use Lift-Off after the first Wind Buffet (as also indicated in the strat). (edited)

My Hydraling (also P/B) wasn't able to kill Bone Crusher. After several attempts I switched his Deep Bite for Tail Slap. That worked on the first try. Thanks for that awesome strategy!

Ok, so just tried again and succeeded. Instead of swapping the Hydra out after Call Lightning, use Shell Armor to eat the dive, then swap to Chitterspine. It still dies before Bloog, but leaves him with shattered armour and Tail Slap finishes him off. Then when Hydra dies, follow above strat and make sure Phase Shift is available for Lift Off - Thanks!!!

Don't know whether something has changed, but this doesn't seem to work at all for me, irrespective of breeds. My Chitterspine dies before Bloog, which means the whole strategy fails for me. Tried different breed combos but nothing seems to work :(

thanks for adding the breed info to some of these fights, it's so helpful! I finally got family exorcist now that I can be more precise about breeds! Used a PS skitterling and a PP slimy octopode and it worked perfectly, using pets with the wrong breed was an exercise in frustration.

Hydralon s'est fait tué aussi par le second mob, mais Déflagration du néant + débuff m'a permis de le tuer. Ensuite, Eclat lunaire suivit de Changement de phase (il décolle tour 2 en général) et spam déflag et c'était bon

Je me suis référée aux commentaires anglais, pour Hydralon j'ai mis Gifle caudale à la place de Morsure profonde, car Morsure profonde ne fonctionnait pas chez moi.
Cette technique ne tuait pas l'adversaire, et il me tuait avec sa technique qui le faisait regénérer.

En utilisant Hydralon : 2/1/1 j'ai réussi du premier coup
