Tested again today, failed when Runehoof landed 2x crits, worked as usual when there was no crit. Don't see a change in Slugger HP or Shell Rush damage so I guess it's about crit RNG, especially with efficient beast damage here :-/ Better luck next time or with a less experimental strategy, this one was always meant for the fun aspect.

Wow! Thank you for this. It took me four times, not because of the strat failing, but because I kept loosing track of what turn. I finally screenshotted the strat on my phone and kept my finger on what turn as I cycled through the soft shells. Also helped to rename them, thank you for that tip!

This worked great! I renamed my pets to be "second softshell" and "third softshell" so I could easily track which one to swap in (the Shell Rush automatically swaps in next pet but not necessarily the one that should go next due to cooldowns)

No idea what you're confused about... I have 6 steps in a rotation that I want you to repeat as long you're up against enemy starter pet Slugger so it's 1...6 - 1...6 - 1...6, etc and Step 3 is a pet swap in this rotation so yes, you keep swapping pets at this specific step and don't start swapping pets somewhere else.

Added a line at the end for swapping pets on deaths (usually not happening)

The part after you swap pets. I mean, I got it now, but you need to clarify why, for example, after swapping you need to pop another Shield, then pass 2x.
After the Barrier put a description like (since your pet is slower, and there's still one charge left on previous barrier, it will 'reapply') a new one).
And on next one, (this is to prevent, when using the shell rush right away, from bringin unprepared pet out, plus, to prevent unnecessary damage on current pet)

Sort of... I've been having trouble with this trainer but seems your's, although the longest of all, seems secure.

This is kinda funny and new to me, most people don't care about the reasons for using something at a given point as long as it works for them :-) If I put too much information in the steps often people are complaining... opposed to that you want more *g*
Guess at least for the steps I'll leave it as is (added something to info) but I always love when people try to get a feeling for a strategy, decisions creator's made, and in best case learn something and then use it in their own strategies. (edited)

I have 3 of quite a few pets, especially if they have good move sets. Family fights are a chance for players to expand their rosters. If you don't like keeping all three, you can sell the duplicates once you're done.

Easy win, no snails died and they had plenty of health left 77% 84% and 72%. I only had 2 Prismatic Softshells so had to use a green Spireshell Snail with 1465 hp so it wouldn't get swapped in after the shell rush, I messed up at the end and ended up with my Spireshell Snail against Runehoof, he hit me but luckily didn't stun so I was able to dive and kill him straight away. tyvm

I've done the fight at least 60 times and never once managed to kill Runehoof. The shell rush almost never hits him. It's very frustrating and takes so long to *get* to that point that each try takes ages. :/ The first part with the prismatic barrier works perfectly, but the last 2 pets... not so much

The animation doesn't hit Runehoof, somehow, but he still loses hp. When your rush kills Slugger you'll see a huge damage on backline too, but it's just a visual bug.

Dauert eine Weile, aber funktionierte gut beim ersten Mal. Am Ende haben alle Pets noch fast volles Leben, sodass man die letzten 2-3 Runden gut übersteht. Die Pets sind auch nicht zu teuer. Gute Strategie ohne RNG:)

Funktioniert leider nicht. Sobald Runenhuf in den Kampf kommt, macht er mit Leichtigkeit alle 3 Weichschalen platt. Runenhuf ist schneller und greift als 1. an... von daher 0,0 Chance.
