Pet Battle: Desolace
Time: Night

This pet will only show up at night in Desolace, and there are conflicting reports on what is considered 'night'. Some say it will change throughout the year, because sunset mirrors IRL seasonal sunset changes. However, it's currently late November and the ones on my server didn't spawn until after 8 pm. If the seasonal changes are true, they may be based on PST (the time zone Blizzard is based out of) sunset times.

After going through the comments, I can say the time I saw consistently was after 10 pm. Chances are, if you see stars this pet will be spawned.

PvE
This pet isn't used often in strategies, but of the three breeds I'd suggest the Health Power, H/P, breed. This will give you power for Scratch and Infected Claw, and you can buff it further with Roar. There are better and faster pets to use Thrash with, making Powerball almost pointless. Your best bet here is to use Scratch or Infected Claw against opponents weak to those moves, and buff with Roar before you attack.
