Does anyone here know why this pet have a chance to appear in the random pet slot in my pet battle teams? I'm alliance.

Are you using Rematch for your teams? Or something else? Maybe it doesn't exclude pets that are unusable because of faction when filling in a Random Pet?

Yes, I am using Rematch to create teams.

Well, that's probably it, then.

I may have forgotten to reply here.

I figured out the problem, and that is that, Gillvanas is indeed a Horde-only pet. Alliance characters can't use it in their teams, but Rematch doesn't ignore it (because Blizzard still haven't properly marked it as faction-specific the same way as for example Moonkin Hatchling.

The same goes for Finduin, but for Horde characters.
