The game is real and it's active NOW!
All the details you'll need about the game you can find in our handy Treasure Hunt Guide.

The game will be active from now until the end of May 1st 2021 - the actual end when IDL (UTC-12) hits midnight!
For clarification, this timepoint is:
May 2nd, 8AM in New York (EST)
May 2nd, 1PM in London
May 2nd, 9PM in Tokyo

Collect coins, secure a place in the leaderboard. The players with the highest amount of coins in their possession at the end of the game will win:

Do warriors near the cap gain power after winning the fight? I have a 147 warrior that has won some battles against warriors with 150 power but mine is still a 147 warrior.

Hey!
They should, yes. However the power increase is very low and can be zero if you fight against low power warriors.
Could you check in your log please if you fought against a warrior with similar power and if so tell me whom you fought against so I can look it up?

It was my 147 Raven agains louvanna's 150 sha (I'm sorry louvanna) on 9/4/2021. I thought my warrior has won some others battles, but I was wrong. So, maybe the experience was something in between 0 and 1.

in that case, the don't have more than 50 coins in their vault, or they have an invisibility cloak (in that case players cant see the vault for an hour)

question; what does the cloak do now? Just doesn't show you on leaderbords? And still no protection if someone visits your profile directly?
Maybe a stash-cloak would be a nice feature for next event? Since our warriors are downgraded, hiding a stash and not being able to protect it strongly wouldn't make me wanna go for money-hiding (went for raffle-tickets anyway, but still...:) )

There's already so many people with such high level pets. Not worth trying to compete for top 5. While I enjoy the idea behind this, you pretty much need to no-life it to get one of those prizes, and at that point, I'd rather just spend money buying the prizes listed if that's the investment needed.

While I still think the activity is fun, if you're behind at all, you may as well just dump all of your coins into buying raffle tickets (glad you still gave this option!) as there's no point in leveling up pets if you're not going to place. I was enjoying leveling my pets and building up my defenses until I realized all my money should just be sunk into tickets instead.

you aren't supposed to go after both the leaderboard prizes AND the raffle tickets. if you do both then you're probably not going to have a good chance to win either of those

the raffle tickets are meant for those people who do not want to invest too much time into building an army and hiding stashes

the people who spend all their money into buffing pets cannot afford to buy many tickets so their chance to win some of the raffle prizes is automatically lower

I know that. I'm just saying that there is little incentive to engage in the pet battle/leveling/protecting your stash aspect of the competition as the prizes are so few and hotly contested. If you're going for the raffle tickets, it makes more sense just to blow all your money on those as you don't need to defend your money. I just wish there was more incentive for the casual players to still level up their pets.

The split between the prizes was very intentional, that's also why there are many more prizes in the raffle pool (including a good bunch of shop & TCG pets!). Participating with upgrading pets and attacking is still worth it because it's always your choice what you do with coins you find OR steal. You can try to play the leaderboard, yes heavy investment, high risk, high reward potential - but you can also divide your coins between upgrading a warrior (if you don't stash coins, no need for more than 1) and buying more raffle tickets. Either way, playing the game increases chances of winning something.

And don't forget, the main thing is it should be fun. If it's no fun to you, don't :-) You can always just pick up whatevery you find while browsing the page normally and get some tickets for the off chance.

I think that main "issue" with this is that a high level pet is good for both for defense and attack. So, it is quite a hide and seek unless you have very much strong defenses, and that takes a longtime for sure.

However, I would have introduced some debuff when attack pet is much more higher than the defense. There is no honor in attacking with 20x strength. It needs really bad luck to lost that battle and have to heal that expensive pet, so maybe it must rest or the stolen coins have to be less than in a more balanced fight.

I'd like to see more battle chances, and maybe this could help beginers.

I'm planning right now to cap warrior power at 150 and make a leaderboard page available where you can see everyone who has more than 50 coins. Not in their vault, but in their possession (including stashes).
What do you think about that?

Sound more balanced. But you will have to think of compensation for the warriors who already are now more than 150 power, and will be lowered to 150, especially when power cost much more at this power level.

About compensation, maybe calculate the amount of gold needed to level their warrior, and give them new warriors with levels amount to the gold they invest in that so far.

Had some issues with pet treats and lost 6 of them due to an error regarding syntax when using them. Was just mindlessly clicking so didnt manage to catch the error-code but Ill post that if it happens again. Probably not a big deal since you're considering capping the warriors and mine was +250.

This was a question about how we see vaults and leaderboards (which weren't working at the time -- we could just see top-leveled warriors). That's since been fixed and seems to be working as intended. I tried to delete this comment since posting here was making me an attack target, but that didn't work, hehe. Can't delete actual comments, just edit them. Ah well. Come and get me, suckas! ;) (edited)

You can see a vault only, if there are more than 50 coins in there. Then you can see them on the Leaderboard as well. Took me some time to figure that out :) As long as you stay under 50 coins in your vault, it can not be attacked. If you find an Invisibility Cloak, your vault is safe for 6 hours, no matter how many coins you have in there.

That's not exactly what the Cloak does. If you have an invisibility cloak, your coins can't be seen on the front page BUT they could be seen on your profile if you have enough

I'm sorry, there was a bug and it didn't show up :S It is working again now. If you have more than 100 coins in your vault (and no cloak), the top 5 of those are shown on the front page.

A leaderboard for total coins doesn't exist (yet?) but you can see your own rank in your vault

I'm not really participating ;-) The odd coin here or there, but I will not compete and everyone who is working with me on the page is excluded from winning any of the prizes - for obvious reasons.
